We all know that’s there’s a veritable cornucopia of things that irritate me.
These things are not them.
While not all things are rainbows and lollipops, these little points of light have elevated my spirits above the daily assault of the rancid quagmire of human filth and stupidity.
The first one being this…
Yup, good old RAIN.
About frakken time. It’s been bucketing down (momentarily) and I’ve been loving it. YAY!!!
Just so we’re clear, I wasn’t talking about this guy…
Actually, that makes me happy too.
The next thing was this…
While I don’t LOVE Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, I will generally tolerate it (sorry, Jimbo) but this in particular smacked of lulziness.
Because TWILIGHT clearly sucks dead donkeys.
Get more of Jimmy Fallon’s “ROBERT IS BOTHERED” videos here and here.

Also? To keep up with all the vampire stuff going around, Conan O’Brien has got himself a new vampire personal assistant… with his own theme music.
Cody Devereaux.
Quit brooding Cody and get me a latte!
AHAHAHAHAHAAAA!
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any good videos to share of the hilarity. We may have to wait for some time.
Either way, hawt!

Yesterday, my love and I went along to the Hispanic Fiesta on Johnston Street, Fitzroy.
TO GORGE OURSELVES STUPID on a variety of Latin American & Spanish treats (the eyes as well as the stomach).
Which we did with great success!
And ended on a high note with chocolate filled & coated Churros.

If you haven’t attempted one or more of these bad boys, you really haven’t lived.
A long & skinny deep fried donut dusted with icing sugar and dipped in melted chocolate?
WANT THAT.

There is always an amount of “walking off” to be done after said gorging, which landed in me in an utterly faboo bookshop: Hares & Hyenas.
Wherein I fell head over heels for this sparkly piece of über lush fabulosity…
I debated about whether to get that or the Bruce La Bruce box (4 DVD’s) set for a sweet 50 bucks!! But this won out even though it cost a pretty penny and worth every glittering cent. I spent the better half of last night poring over the gloriously pretty innards and trying to contain myself.
SO. MUCH. PRETTY.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with some of Pierre et Gilles beautiful works, get your dribble bibs handy.
Mercure – Enzo Junior (2001) (showing some nice retrograde…)
Joli Voyou – Enzo Junior (1995)
Sur la plage Abandonné – Rupert Everett (1994)
Suddenly, I no longer want hot churros dipped in warm melted chocolate and I can’t think of why…
Curious.
Fin.
